The Knowledge Centre, Danish Agricultural Advisory Service (DAAS)

• is the knowledge and information centre and collaborator for 32 independent advisory centres. Together they constitute the Danish Agricultural Advisory Service.
• in cooperation with the local centres the Knowledge Centre aim to provide the best as well as the cheapest advisory service to the farmers.
• do also attend activities abroad.
• is owned by The Danish Agriculture and Food Council. The farmer is both customer and owner of the Danish Agricultural Advisory Service.
• is part of a unique two-layer system, in which the knowledge and information centre advices the local advisory centres who again give advice to the farmers. There is no system quite like it in the world.
• helps to advice 45,000 farms, 1000 horticultural industries as well as 5000 small and medium sized companies.
