CVs are especially used in connection with tenders
The objective of Danish Agricultural Advisory Service, Knowledge Centre, International Advice is to sell the products which have been developed through more than 100 years within the Danish agricultural advisory service, the agricultural colleges and in the entire in-service training sector.
Often we take part in pre-qualifications and submit tenders put out by international donors. In this connection it is very important through the expertise of our employees to be able to demonstrate our ability to carry through projects competently.
Pre-qualifications are normally carried out on the basis of an estimate of the company as such, while tenders are especially based on an estimate of the CVs of the experts of the tender. However, your CV will not be included in a tender unless we have explicitly agreed on it.
Qualifications
Often more people are interested in participating in international projects than we need. Please notice that we value the following qualifications when we single out experts for international projects:
- A minimum experience of 10 years from similar work, preferably from a leading position or as leading specialist within this field.
- English language qualifications at a very high level, in writing as well as orally.
- Previously international experience from the country concerned, or at least from the same part of the world.
- A possibility of freeing oneself from ones present work and from ones family to go abroad for long or short periods of time.
- Super computer user.
- A rather indefinably winning and out-going manner which enables you to make and keep contacts, seem credible, be a success in all spheres and to solve problems rather than causing them.
The Danish Agricultural Advisory Service, Knowledge Centre, International Advice participates most often in projects as project managers, but we are typical in need of recruiting people with technical skills.
