International provides consultancy services and implements projects abroad. Presently, we are involved in project activities in Romania, the Balkans, Ukraine, Turkey, Middle East, Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa.

Focus on Africa
International primarily works in countries, where the majority of the populations are living in the country side and the countries’ economies highly depend on the agricultural production. This applies especially to Africa where there is a great potential for agricultural production which has not yet been fully exploited.
The Africa Commission - set-up last year by the Danish government - has outlined a clear policy that focuses on private sector-led growth which improves the competitiveness of African economies. Special emphasis is given to create jobs, foster entrepreneurship, and provide greater opportunities for young African women and men through education and skills development.
- For the agricultural sector in Africa the Danish Agricultural Advisory Service, National Centre (DAAS) has many competences to offer, especially when it comes to education, private sector development and development of models for effective advisory. DAAS, International has extensive experience in exporting knowledge and services and is an ideally suited partner in private agriculture sector development, says Torben Huus-Bruun, Director, International.
